What do the little prince with a rose, the evil witch 'Darth Vader', a scarecrow without a suit, a Catholic priest, Jason from 'Friday the 13th', a grandmother loaded with explosives and a girl with pigtails named Dorothy have to do with each other? Probably none... Unless they all escape for a moment from their personal fairy tale and travel to another dimension, to the reality of an alien dream, to the mythical land of Ozland...

'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz' by L. Frank Baum is a classic fairy tale, or rather a classic fairy tale with postmodern concerns and myth busting. A reading of the kind that perhaps we were all 'forced' to read at some point in our school years. Dorothy, her dog Toto, the Tin Woodcutter, the Scarecrow, the Cowardly Lion and the Wizard of Oz sealed the innocence of our childhood. But with an adult eye, or rather a liberated viewpoint, the same tale can take off on a journey through time and space of magic or even illusion. And as we all know, hallucinations are chaotic.

The question posed by the show is whether chaos can be controlled. A KIN. believes that YES. It can be controlled, as long as it can be danced. Everything can be danced as long as it is part of ourselves. All the things we dreamed about as children, our obsessions, the stories we once told or heard, the 'bad guys' we killed in our sleep or in our waking life, the journeys we took by car, on our feet or in our minds, the roads we've walked, the hamburgers we've eaten, the garbage we've generated or left behind, the revolutions we've made or not made, the fires we've lit or extinguished can be danced. All of this, geographically, takes place in a place called Ozland. So, for there to be a point of reference...
